Braska will be away for some time. He wants to know more DIYers and I will grant his wish by letting him do just that!! From now on, Braska will be on the move. It started it’s life as a simple shoebox and then got upgraded to a package that is sturdy and useable with a jack for external PSU so I wouldn’t have to rely on batteries. Same story about the Music from outer space WSG that got a serious upgrade and became [...] Made the panel for the WSG (Weird sound generator). This is it. It is made like the one I’ve done for the SoundLab beside it. I scanned the panel with the holes, overlayed the picture I’ve made (actually it is just boxes and text) , printed it on glossy paper and then sprayed it with a [...] The WSG (Weird sound generator) took it’s place beside Soundlab. So there are two samples, one (http://rapidshare.com/files/217106360/hhh2.mp3) which uses both of them and one(http://rapidshare.com/files/214296536/hhh.mp3) that uses only Soundlab..There is a little effect processing afterwards (delay+ phaser). Both are fed from a +-15V PSU without any problems whatsoever. An interesting experiment is to plug the output of [...] It is about time me and Braska started making a case for modules/synths we’ve made. The panels for the modules I’ve made are 12×12cm a unit and I have some standard panels made with 16 holes evenly spaced. These are the generique type that may house vcos, filters etc. The big one is for midibox seq. [...] The SID synth is working! As I just bought a simple oscilloscope, wave shots follow.. The SID filter works by using two capacitors. I think it works by switching them on and off in sequence. However it works internally, you can experiment with the values of the capacitors.
